LCD White-out I have had this Fuji FinePix A350 since Christmas 2006. This August while on vacation and taking quite a few pictures with a new 1GB XD card, the LCD screen would come on with a blank white screen as the camera was turned on. I continued to take photos using the optical viewfinder to frame my pictures, hoping that it was still working even if I couldn't view them. Fortunately, all the photos did come out fine even though some were totally out of focus (focusing was sometimes a problem even before the screen went white). Evidently the screen is receiving power but it no longer connects to the imaging system in the camera, and obviously since I have no LCD, I have no way to determine the status of any of the menus. Is this a fixable problem or is the camera trashed. I did not pay a great deal for the camera since I bought it as a refurb and the warranty period has expired. I would appreciate any info from anyone else who has experienced this problem.
