Red light - Internet

Means you have no internet connection. Try a new LAN cable between you router and internet modem. Connect directly to you internet modem make certain it is working. Reboot both devices.

The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset

If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can set-up form scratch.

Try a new working LAN cable between your internet modem and the router. Is your internet modem connected and working? You should be able to directly connect using a LAN cable to check the modem connection. Reboot your modem and router.

5. If everything has been done correctly, when you open Internet Explorer youcan access the Internet. If you have a wireless router and it is connected to the DSLor cable modem then -
To connect to yourwireless router, the router needs its wireless settings to be configuredwith the SSID, encryption key etc., also the wireless cards in all thelaptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless settings.Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

Connect modem lan cable to Router Wan / Internet port. From Router Lan port you can either connect your system or switch . wireless : Scan for wireless network from your wireless system. If it shows, connect to your wifi network

Hi Friend, In this case I would recommend you to please check if the BSNL modem is the wireless modem or the Wired modem. If it is a wireless modem then you can connect your system wirelessly to internet , provided that the laptop has the wireless card in it.
If it is a wired modem then you can connect your system with the LAN cable to that modem in each slots to get connected to the Internet.

Easy, if your modem is connected to your computer right now and internet is working all you need to do is connect your LAN line to your belkin router. the connection should say input, or Internet. after that you will need another LAN wire (These look like telephone cables but the jack plug is larger and will only fit a lan connection on your router or computer) Connect the second wire to the line 1 or outout 1 from your router, to your pc in the slot where the other cable was connected. your internet signal should work.... on your mobil find any available network and log in to your belkin router.

that should do it.... if you haven't set up your internet connection, do that first by installing the drivers for the modem provided by your provider and then complete the process above.

To resolve issues with the Internet Gateway connecting to the MyQ server

1. Determine if you can connect to the Internet using your computer. If you cannot connect, proceed to step 2.
2. Reset the router. Unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug back in. It can take a few minutes to reconnect to the internet. If you still cannot connect to the internet, contact your Internet Service Provider before proceeding.
3. Move the Internet Gateway ethernet cable to another port on the router. Put it in one of the ports on either side of the current position on router. Make sure that the Internet Gateway is plugged into a LAN port, normally numbered 1-4. Proceed to step 4 if none of the ports work.
4. If you are using a modem and a router, disconnect from the router and plug the Internet Gateway directly into a LAN port in the modem to bypass the router. Note: This will turn off the internet to the rest of your home network temporarily. If this works:

• Check your router How to determine which routers and modems are incompatible with the Liftmaster or Chamberlain Internet Gateway.
• Contact the manufacturer of your router for additional support. There may be a security setting preventing the Internet Gateway to connect.

5. If step 4 doesn't work, power cycle your home's internet modem, it may need to be restarted to provide a new IP address to your network.
6. Perform a Soft Reset on the Internet Gateway. This renews the IP address with the router. The LED lights will blink like a normal power up. To perform a soft reset:

1. With a safety pin or paper clip, press and hold reset button while the Internet Gateway is still plugged in.
Note: The reset button is located on the side of the Internet Gateway in a recessed hole.
2. Hold the button in until you see a yellow LED light blink and release.7. Perform a hard reset on the gateway. This deletes all the devices and renews the IP address with the router.

1. Unplug the AC adapter from the gateway.
2. With a safety pin or paper clip, press and hold the reset button on the side of the gateway.
3. Plug the AC adapter back in while continuing to hold down the reset button until the yellow LED light blinks.

1. USB modem is connecting a PC USB port with a DSL phone line: CANNOT be connected to a ROUTER LAN (ethernet NOT USB port).
2. Wireless ROUTER is NOT a modem and it CANNOT connect the Internet (or WAN) LAN port to any "phone line"
3. Connect the Router Internet (WAN) port to Modem (you need a LAN MODEM = a modem with a LAN/ETHERNET port)
4. Be sure your internet is running before strting ROUTER configuration with Router Company CD

1. Number of computers.
2. Type of connection through the modem(username, password or automatic)
3. Number of computers.

In the meantime you may do this. Connect an Ethernet cable or LAN cable from your wildblue modem (internet provider) to the yellow port on the router, Then connect a LAN cable from your computer to the ports 1,2,3 or 4 on the router. Press the reset button on the router for 30 seconds then let go and pull out the power. Plug the power back in and restart your computer. Check if you have internet.
