Hello, was the sound working before, i would like to know
1. Your sound card might be disabled from the bios. Restart your computer and quickly press F2, F10 or Delete button to get into the bios to check. 2. Un-install your sound card driver completely and then re-install 3. Your sound may be disabled from within windows, check for the speaker icon on your taskbar and if the slider works. 4. Another hardware on your computer is conflicting with your sound card. Have you installed any recent hardware or software? if so remove them and see if it solves the problem
