I tried the same solution and it also worked. I guess it's just a re-boot. Mine took two tries and then it was fine except I can no longer hear it beep when I open my phone like it use too,but the calls go through.

Hold the "Answer/End" button on your Jabra Bluetooth headset down until the LED light on the headset turns solid blue. The location of the button may vary based on which headset you have, but its appearance will be the same; it is the button that has an image of a telephone on it.
Click on the "Settings" icon from the main screen of your iPhone 4 .
Click on "General" in your iPhone's "Settings" menu.
Click on "Bluetooth" to access your iPhone's Bluetooth menu and then click the option to turn on your iPhone's Bluetooth connection. Once your iPhone's Bluetooth is turned on, it will search for available Bluetooth devices.
Select your Jabra headset by clicking on the icon that appears on your iPhone's screen.
Enter the passkey for your Jabra Bluetooth headset. The default passkey on Jabra headsets is "0000."
Click on "OK" on your iPhone 4 to complete the connection to your Jabra headset.
Tips & Warnings
The LED light on your headset must be solid blue to pair to your iPhone. A flashing light indicates your headset is not yet in pairing mode and your iPhone will not be able to connect to the headset.
Having your iPhone 4 Bluetooth turned on will drain your phone battery faster than normal.
Hold the volume up (+) button down along with the call button for 5-10 seconds (until the led lis solid). Then, while the led is lit up, initiate the pairing on your phone. It should pair this time. It worked for my phone, which was having the same problem you described.
Hey guys,
hold the button pressed for 6 sec. until led is solid.
then search bluetooth devices on phone
click on Bluetooth headset
insert '0000'
press OK
now it should work, or check http://jabra.com for compatibility.
Best wishes,

My head set had another pin code other than 0000 when I recieved the unit which made it dificult to connect. I learned how to reset it to the default pin of 0000 which allowed me to sync it with my phone. After using it for a month or so my phone requested the pin again.I entered 0000 and once again would not accept the pin. I had to retore the default pin again and it works just fine. Here are the instructions. Plug your vbt185z into the wall charger and while connected press down and hold the center blue button untill the light comes on.(about 30 seconds)Unplug the the ear piece and turn the unit on.Now enter pin 0000 and your phone should accept the pin.
Hey everyone! I had the same problem, and I actually got it to work again! I hope these directions will help you get yours to work (from the manual): 1. Put the headset in pairing mode • Make sure the headset is off. • Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on. <== THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! HOLD THE BUTTON UNTIL YOU SEE A SOLID NON-BLINKING LIGHT! (This is where I was going wrong with the directions.) 2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT350 Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device. 3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT350 Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).
I tried the same solution and it also worked. I guess it's just a re-boot. Mine took two tries and then it was fine except I can no longer hear it beep when I open my phone like it use too,but the calls go through.
