You have either bad convergence ICs or just bad grounds on the IC. I would go ahead and replace the ICs and check those small ohm resistors, as you have to pull the signal board out anyway. I have the same problem with my tv, my tv tech said mitsubishi knows of the problem and knows how to fix it, but it would cost me 700.00 plus his labor to take out the chassis and send it in to mitsubishi, plus I would be without a tv for up to a month. this is b.s.
I have a 3 yr old 55 inch mitsubishi TV and when I turn it on the green light starts flashing and I must reset the TV about four times before it finally comes on has anyone had this problem if so what solution did you have?
I've worked on a few of these sets and have found C2P08 to cause something like rolling bars in the picture and have found C2P05 to cause lines jumping in the picture.
