While using the washing machine the heating element has fallen out and flooded the kitchen.
The element is not faulty i just need to know how it fits back into the washer, where it fits inside the machine it has a rubber seal but it does not seem to fit all the way in
Remove the front panel of the machine, remove the element and slacked off the centre bolt, apply a layer of clear silicon to the rubber seal refit tighten centre bolt leave overnight and test the following day, this will resolve the problem.

Is the water flooding coming from the top of the washing machine?
Check the drain pipe in the back to see that it's not loose. Also, look inside the drain pipe and make sure there is no algae. Algae might cause low flow through the drain pipe and it will overflow.
Yes F-03 indicates a faulty thermistor (it's inside the heating element at the back). Before calling an engineer, just open the bottom rear panel and check that the connector has not come loose (OR IN MY CASE FALLEN OFF COMPLETELY). This can happen if there is a spin cycle that runs out of balance big time. (two thin wires on a square unit about 5mm in size fitted to the middle of the heating element).
it appears that the pump is not removing the water that is spun out if there is a belt on the pump then it may have fallen off or need replacing if it is intact then the pump either failed or there is a blockage in the line
If the indicator light you are referring to is the 'surface hot' light
then either the element has failed or a connection to the element has
fallen off. If the indicator light you are referring to is the 'element on' light
then either the corresponding control switch has failed or a connection to the switch has
fallen off. It may be possible the lamp has failed..although never have seen one fail yet.
