I have a pop come up on my system. It is a Brightness/Contrast box in the center of the screen. It looks like the real guages for Brightness and contrast but they do not move or are affected by anything you do. It comes up a different times and remain there for hours. We have used Norton 360 and it is not effected by it. I also used CA software and it did nothing. I am puzzled. Any ideas?

SOURCE: Operating System infected by Trojan Horse. My

Restart your computer, and keep pressing F8, until you get the Windows "start-up" menu -- white text over a black background.
Choose "Safe Mode", and see if you can logon.

Then, try one (or more) of the anti-virus scanners listed at:
http://www.facebook.com/security?v=app_10442206389

Or, follow the "best practises" recommended by Microsoft:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc700813.aspx
and backup your data files, reinstall Windows & your anti-virus software,
and reload your data files.
