It sounds like you need to re-adjust your convergence. The purpose of adjusting your convergence is to align your red, green, and blue colors. Moving your TV often causes this problem. I hope you get it going.

have you check outlet with a voltmeter or even checked breaker? Is your new rect' a 3 or 4 prong outlet? If you hooked up red's to black and black to reds it still should have worked.
