I dont know the Maytag model - but is has a CERAN top

I don't know, but it sounds like one of the heating elements are burnt out/no longer working. I had a similiar problem 5 years ago.. they're pretty easy to replace yourself if you are handy and have a screw driver. the door must be removed from the oven and taken apart

Either control board bad, or there is more then one circuit breaker controlling the power, check the breakers on both the inside and outside breaker box...Stranger things have happened..

Unplug the range from power.
Open the oven door. Look on the right and left sides of the oven frame just below the top. Remove the 2 screws. Pull the top forward. Remove the wiring harness connector at the back.Lift the top up and off. Set the top aside.

replace the control

Unplug the dryer.
Take a putty knife and insert it at the top of the front panel just below the lid and push the 2 clips in.They are about 2 inches in from the right and left sides.
Raise the top lid towards the rear of the machine.
Remove 2 screws on the inside top corners of the front panel. Remove the front panel.
Remove the belt. Remove the drum.
The heater will be on your bottom left.

the lights come on but the burners will not heat up what would be the issue
