I have internet cafe, and i have a 15 PC's with FOXCONN motherboard. Five of them don't work, they don't boot even the bios, some others restart the pc's (Many time they restart when the customers try to login on Windovs Live Messenger)... My hardware is only GeForce 7300 Le, 512Ram, and 80GB HDD (only), so I can't find the problem more then 5 mounth's... Pleace tell me what to do?! On some forums i see that the hardware is uncompatible, but in my case that is imposible (i think) because other 10 PC's work great. Thank's for understanding! My email is [email protected]
Bota eso a la basura y comprate una placa madre de calidad como Asus, MSI, Intel entre otros...no seas tacaño... la diferencia de precio no es mucha pero los beneficios si lo son.

Hi, Sorry to say that this board has so many problems associated with it specially the SiS chipsets, that you might be better of replacing them since they should still be under warranty. If you swing swing a replacement of another brand/model even if you have to add a little, that might be a better solution rather than force the issue of repair. Offhand the most that you can really do is check if you can upgrade/update the BIOS and see if there is a significant improvement. Other than that you have little or no other options. If replacement is viable, try to get motherboards with Intel or Via based chipsets. Good luck and kind regards.

Hello again Marko,
We have the same business.
The sooner you have them replaced the better. You may have to spend a little more to have the brand/model replaced assuming that your supplier would agree. Asus, MSI would be good brands as well as ECS as long as the chipset is either Intel or Via. Experience has taught me to stay away from PC Partner, Jetway & FoxConn.
"Did I have a way to change only chipset?" unfortunately no, there is no easy way to just only replace the chipsets.
One thing that I have found to be very helpful in a Comp Rental (Internet Cafe) business is to have a spare hard disk with OS, applications, games installed identical to the HDs used in the active PCs. At any given time, I don't bother with repair, I simply clone the spare HD to the PCs HD which reduces the downtime and the tech work/man hours. For partitioning/formatting, I use PowerQuest PartitionMagic; for cloning, I use Acronis True Image. This is of course assuming that all the PCs have identical hardware setup.
Cheers.
