Question about IBM ThinkPad T22 2647 Notebook
My Thinkpad T22 works well except for the dark background problem. I believe that if I re-seat the data flex cable into the motherboard it may solve the problem. My problem: How do I take the laptop apart without destroying it? I have worked on PCs for 7 years however never taken apart a laptop to the level which I require. Sometimes when I start Laptop it beeps at me telling me (I beleive) the data flex cable is not seated properly. If I open/close lid it starts without beeping and screen lighted well. Thank you for your time. - Todd
I am having a problem just like this here is a link to the service manual from ibm ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/62p9631.pdf copy and paste in your browser. use egg carton or something that you can hold and label your screws or you can use a color marker to mark the screws. different color for different screws also have good lighting i have a dell inspiron 1000 that the lcd goes black. i am not getting any beep codes and i cant find a service manual for it. good luck let me know if and how you fix your laptop [email protected]
