The market is full of brands making these faucets but how to decide which one is the best suited to your needs. Below mentioned are few things which should be kept in mind while making a purchase of a touchless kitchen faucets.

• Position of the motion sensor
  It is important to check where the sensor is placed on your kitchen faucet. Their position varies from brand to brand. Some of them come with the sensor installed on their spout, while others have them at the bottom or the top of the faucet. It is up to you to select the one which suits your needs. Moen touchless faucets have two sensors, and the wave sensor is placed at the top which is responsible for the activation and deactivation of water flow and the other sensor, ready sensor is placed at the bottom, which is used merely for identifying the articles in your sink.
• Power Source
  When it comes to a power source, there are two types of touchless kitchen faucets in the market. For the ones that need a continuous power supply you have to make sure that they are installed near a power outlet in your kitchen. The other type runs on a battery and can be placed anywhere. You can choose either depending upon your kitchen needs.
• Others
  Before buying the faucet for your kitchen make sure its length, height, etc. is appropriate for your kitchen. Also make sure whether it is easily installable or not.

Shut the water off to the faucet. Open faucets above this unit to allow water to empty in the pipes.
Disconnect the water supply from the faucet.
Unbolt the faucet from the counter top.

Didn't the faucet come with directions?

If I understand correctly, you have single handled shower faucet.
Normally there is a wait for hot water to arrive at faucet.
But now hot water is already at shower faucet.

Single handled faucets have a mixing area inside valve where hot and cold come together before going into sink.
This mixing valve can have crossover where the hot and cold can pass through to each other even when faucet handle is off. When single handle faucets get old, this can happen.
How it happens:
For example another faucet is turned on inside house, and pressure differential between hot and cold causes hot water at shower handle to pass through mixing area and into cold water line.
So if another faucet has been run, then that lets hot flow to faulty single handled shower faucet.
To confirm this is the problem: turn on other faucet and put ear against shower faucet to listen for moving water.
This condition may also signal there is a water leak.
The problem is not harmful, but will draw cold water into water heater each time, and is energy wasteful.
Replace faucet or have plumber repair problem.

What is likely happening is a small piece of sediment has become lodged in either the mixing valve or in the aerator.

Begin with the easiest part first. The aerator is the threaded attachment from which the water comes out of the faucet. Remove the aerator from the faucet and run the tap without it installed. If the flow rate is good either clean or replace the aerator.

If this was not the problem then the solution becomes much trickier because the obstruction is likely in one of the lines coming into the faucet or in the body of the faucet called the mixing valve. This is where the hot and cold water mix inside the faucet.

Our next step is to create negative pressure inside the faucet in an attempt to remove the buildup restricting the flow.

If you don't have shut off valves under the sink you will need to shut off the water supply to the home, remove the faucet from the vanity/sink and perform the following procedure.

Shut the hot and cold water off underneath the sink and remove the supply lines at the shut off valves but leave them connected to the faucet. You will need to purchase two adapters for the aerator that will allow you to connect a garden hose from your closest water supply (kitchen sink) to the vanity faucet. You can find these at your local hardware store. You will also need a pail under the vanity to catch the water coming out of the vanity faucet supply lines. Connect the garden hose from an active water supply to the vanity faucet. With someones help have them turn the water supply on which will then run backwards through the vanity faucet and into the pail underneath the vanity. Be sure to open the vanity faucet taps to full so that water will run through the faucet. This should dislodge the obstruction.

All faucets install easily if you have the proper tools. Answer these questions first: 1. how many holes are their in the surface of your sink? Is there a faucet installed now? If yes, you may only need to remove that faucet and use the same feed lines under the sink to hook up the new one. Take your faucet to the hardware store and ask the plumbing clerk if the hook ups under the sink are different from what your new faucet appears to be compatible with. good luck

A noisy washer-type faucet is usually caused by a loose seat washer. To stop the noise, first turn off the water and take the faucet apart as described previously. If the washer is loose, tighten it or replace it. After threading the stem back into the faucet body, try moving it up and down. If it moves, the stem is worn and the entire faucet must be replaced. Some faucets are noisy due to poor design and construction. The only way to solve this problem is to replace the faucet with a quality one.

Many new faucets require some assembly before mounting to the sink; if that is the case, follow the manufacturer's directions. With most pullout sprayer faucets, the sprayer needs to be threaded through the faucet body first. Insert the rubber gasket between the base plate of the faucet and the sink top to create a watertight seal. If no gasket is provided, pack the cavity of the faucet with plumber's putty, then insert the faucet body through the holes in the sink top. Thread the mounting nuts provided onto the faucet shafts, then center the threaded shafts in the sink's holes and tighten the nuts firmly. Many manufacturers include a special long socket specifically to aid in tightening the mounting nuts. A hole in the socket accepts the shank of a screwdriver, guiding it as you tighten the nuts. If you're mounting the faucet on an installed sink, use this method. If you're installing a pullout sprayer faucet--or a faucet with a separate sprayer--now is the time to connect the sprayer to the faucet body. Check the manufacturer's directions to see if using pipe-wrap tape for this connection is recommended. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the connection. Most pullout sprayer faucets and faucets with separate sprayers come with a counterweight that attaches to the sprayer hose. This weight helps retract the hose back in to the sink cabinet after you've used the sprayer. Follow the manufacturer's directions on where to secure the weight, and take care not to crimp the hose as you attach the weight. Hook up the faucet's hot and cold supply lines to the water supply shutoff valves under the sink. If necessary, gently bend the copper tubes coming out of the faucet for better access and connect flexible supply tubes to them. Simply wrap a couple of turns of pipe-wrap tape around the threaded nipples on the valves and connect the tubes. Tighten the nuts with an adjustable wrench.
