To change RAW to Jpeg you need to use the software that came with the camera (Digital Photo Professional) or Photoshop or Lightroom. It can't be done in-camera.

SOURCE: Incompatible JPEG format

you are most probably looking at the pictures from the camera screen.... if you use a CF card reader and view them on the PC through internet explorer or any other software they will be fine..

You get this error when the files have been changed on the CF card by anything aside from the camera

SOURCE: setting RAW as file format

Make sure that the mode dial is not set to one of the 'Basic Zones', i.e. Auto, Portrait, Landscape, etc. You should be able to select RAW or RAW+L in P, Tv, Av, M, or A-DEP.

SOURCE: My new canon rebel T2i/EOS

A 5 error is the camera thinks the flash is not raising. Look near the hinge for a small button and see if it is up or down. This lets the camera know is the flash is up or down and if the button is stuck down you will hear the motor fire a few times and it will then error.
Unfortunately, this is one of the problems that starts to appear on cameras with pop-up flashes. You can hit the button and pull it up at the same time. Only other option is to send it to Canon to get it repaired.
or, Get an Speedlite like the 430EXII or 580EXII. The flash unit may make your camera bigger, but the results will be much better once you learn flash techniques.

How to convert my raw images

Photoshop, GIMP, Rawtherapee, Darktable, Lightroom, etc...
You can even do it in batch with linux.
But I recomend to set the camera to jpeg+raw and let the camera do the conversion for you. Then if you need an special retouch of a photo, use any of the above applications.

On my Rebel Canon t2i how do I change the images from RAW to JPEG?

when you have an image from raw, for example 3000 x 4000 pixels, and convert to jpg , it remains 3000 x 4000 pixels, so detail remains the same, but you have make sure compression is 100% 10 or 12 scale when save as export , in options, if you lower compression the pixelating becomes noticeable,

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/formats...

check settings for save as export for photoshop and lightroom, keep resolution high, if images are resized to smaller 5x7 " sizes for web, maintain resolution ratio from 72 up towards 300 ppi/dpi,

Save as copy, not save for web,

if you were saving to limited web service site, they may decompression or lower file size quality of original image for upload,
if you have lower bandwidth service, your settings for web use may also be low for faster loading, making quality lower,

T2i pictures not coming good.

Load up the ATG Canon EOS Utility on your camera & check by shooting tethered. Then view it on a big screen,

I am shooting in raw i cant download pictures properly or get my pictures printed off the the card

RAW images are what it means. You should convert them into a printable format such as JPEG before you can take prints. I strongly suggest that you shoot in JPEG mode to avoid all these headaches!

Recently purchased a Canon 550D and when previewing an image on the camera, it appears fine. After switching it on and off, the image appears as a small version with "Can not display preview". ...

you maybe taking shots in raw which is fine but depending on what OS you have and computer hardware might mean your pc is struggling to open them. might want to check your photo resolution settings by pressing menu button and on the first list you should see the quality mode your using try taking shots in jpeg see if that helps.

if its already taking photos in jpeg then i highly recommend downloading picasa as it has an excellent photo viewer which you can enable as your default photo viewer. opens raw and jpeg photos no problem.

CR2 files are created when you shoot RAW files. Your computer cannot read them without a Canon RAW plugin in whatever image processing software you're using.

Your camera can be set to record in JPEG, RAW or JPEG and RAW.

If you wish to know more about RAW files and their uses, then click here.

I hope this has helped you, if not then please add a comment to explain what additional information you'd like regarding this problem but otherwise please take a moment to rate my answer.

When using Canon Rebel XS sometimes it takes several seconds before I can take another shot. it reads busy. What can i do to correct this. I am losing perfect picture opportunities

This can depend on the picture quality you have selected, try using JPEG only, no RAW. If this is still not fast enough, you can try a faster SD card, going up to a SDHC Class 6. The Canon XS is a low-end of the EOS Digital Rebel and the slowest, if speed is absolutely required past JPEG only and a Class 6 SDHC, your only hope is upgrading to a faster Rebel.

When I shoot in Raw + jpeg, no raw filkes show up.

I had the same problem, basically all you need is a RAW converter, the canon software should do and should be provided with the camera and if you havent got that then there is a wide selection of free software on the internet im sure of it just search for it, or a lot easier not to use RAW in the first place...

Importing Images

The CR2 suffix means that the picture was taken in the RAW file format, a proprietary format. This requires that the images be processed by a software conversion to be 'readable' by the computer. The EOS Utility software that came with the camera will work, as well as a number of third-party software packages. GOOGLE "raw file conversion Canon digital rebel" to see the options.

The other option is to take your photos in JPEG format (not RAW). Your computer can 'read' any JPEG format image.

Stops taking pictures for no apparent reason.

My guess is that your camera is current set to take pictures in RAW mode, as opposed to the more less memory eating JPEG format. In Laymen's terms, RAW format pictures require much more memory than JPEG ones do and can dramatically reduce the buffering speed of your camera. The main purpose or advantage of RAW is that it allows one to have more editing capability, after the picture is taken. Not sure how fast you took the 10 pictures, but I would suggest you check the settings and make sure it is set to JPEG format.

Good luck!
