Hoover 750 washing machines have a lint filter down the centre of the agitator. you simply pull it straight out and clean it.

Washer stops during normal wash cycle for a minute or more, and then continues. Would replacing the timer fix it?

If it actually goes on and finishes the cycle and that really bothers you replace it. If not leave it alone and allow a little more time to complete its cycle. The lid switch only keeps the spin cycle from going with the top open.

This is happening because you have a very bad fault, a Phase to Earth short, problem. Leave machine UNPLUGGED, Breaker/Fuses OUT. do NOT use it, nor Touch it, It is possible to get severe electric shock. PLEASE get a registered serviceman to inspect this unit.

Washer pauses during spin cycle

Check the filter. I have the same problem and I found an string (slip) in the filter. The filter is back of the front pannel (under the door).

Whirlpool LGR7648KQ1 top loader washer

Hi It appears that- You have a clogged water pump inlet filter. Normally located at the bottom of the machine there should be a 1"-2" disk that you need to rotate half turn to release. Be aware that a large quantity of water is likely to drain when you open it. Good luck

Washer keeps stopping during any cycle

the humming noise could be from two sources and it is worth while doing a few simple checks first the drain pump is jammed with a foreign object. check nothing caught in the impellor second water not available - check taps turned on. also turn water off, undo fill hoses, put in a bucket and turn water back on try on drain or spin programs to check water drainage as well
