Avicn2 I've had my Avicn2 for about a year and half. It has been working great till the other day. No when I turn the car on, I get no audio, but when I put my car in stand-by (or whatever it is when you turn the key to the left) I get audio for about 5-10 minutes or so, then it shuts off. If I turn up the volume I can hear a little bit of the bass, but no audio from the speakers. Can anyone please help?

The guy on Ebay will fix Avic N-series audio problems for around $110 plus shipping.

My float is stuck and buying a new fuel pump assembly is out of the question, is there anything i can do to repair myself?

It is rare that this will help, but sometimes if you fill the fuel tank all the way to the top of the fuel inlet (where you put gas in) it can "unstick" the float.

One possible reason a float sticks is someone overfilled the tank.

We have a '03 Pontiac Grand Am GT, 3.4L (3400).

If the resistor bypass doesn't solve it, another remedy could be a plug-in type engine block heater- I mean plug into household current. It keeps the engine coolant warm in the block. Every other car here in Montana uses one-works great for those below zero nights. When the wife pulls into work, just run an extension line and keep the car plugged in till time to go. Other than that, IDK, sounds like you've covered it pretty well as far as solutions.

Dell Inspiron 531 (desktop) won?t turn on/boot

You've either got a bad motherboard or a bad processor (I'd lean to the motherboard being bad). I would honestly take this into a computer repair shop and have them check both.

Sounds like the head unit is bad on your audio system. You would need to replace the entire unit. I'd recommend an aftermarket stereo instead of another Ford stereo.

Setting the clock

Reset the unit and insert the navi disc. The time adjustment option will show up at start up. Goodluck.

Keeps telling me Wrong Disc....

Try another disc and if that fails get a DVD lens cleaner disc. That will clean the lasers lens wich in most cases causes the issue. Don't overlook alot of fingerprints on the dics itself. One thing to try quickly and see if the laser is still working is put an audio CD in and if that plays then most likely the dirt is the factor.
