When i open internet browser my sbc yahoo home page willnot display

Well, what displays instead of that? You can change your homepage by opening Internet Explorer, going to Tools, then clicking Internet Options. The option to change the homepage will then be staring you in the face.

    When i change the homepage, it does the exact same thing, the internet settings window pops up.

Hi,
When a person is using the ISP (Internet Service Provider) for the e-mail, and that provider is changed, the e-mail goes with the provider. One cannot have a sbc e-mail account without sbc being the carrier.
One could contact sbc to find out if they could forward those unread messages to the ATT e-mail account.
Hot mail from Microsoft or G mail from google are supported by the Internet Browser, so those accounts will transfer from any different ISP.

Are you saying you need to know what your sbc global . net email address is? Or are you saying you need to get into your sbc email account and cannot get your mail? Please clarify? If you do not know your email address, you can contact sbc on the internet. use chat services or get their phone number and call customer services. They are open 24/7. Type in sbcglobal.net in a search box on the internet and locate their contact information. Once you identify yourself answering security questions they will tell you your email address and walk you through setting up easy access to it.

Sbc yahoo home page displays done with errors.
try this one:

open up your internet explorer browser 8 then at the right side or top part of the browser, click tools, click internet option, you will see a new window, click the advance tab at the bottom click reset ( not the reset advance ) this will reset ie misconfiguration.

if you are using a lower version of internet explorer update your browser, you can go to google and search or go to microsoft website for updates

Yahoo is the provider of email services for SBC, now AT&T.

Go to yahoo.com and sign in using your sbcglobal.net email address and password and you will be connected.

Yes, you can. The setup I have seen most often uses what they call a "2Wire HomePortal".

Set the hardware up and make all the connections as instructed in the setup materials from SBC Yahoo (It's really quite simple: the phone line from the jack with the filter provided plugs in the phone line jack on the "Home Portal"--a simple router often called a DSL "modem"--and the ethernet cable into the other port on the "HomePortal" and into the RJ-45 jack on a computer)

Go to https://sbcreg.sbcglobal.net in the web browser of your choice. Note: it is an httpS address. The "s" is important.

If the web page comes up, simply follow the instructions on the page to establish an account.

If you don't get a registration page, try http://support.sbcglobal.net/register and follow the prompts.

NOTE: make sure the "HomePortal" router is easily acessible, because you will need its serial number duringh the process. The process MAY also establish a "temporary" login that you will have to replace with a permanent one.
