For Garmin. Enter your final destination and select go. Select again "where to" and select new destination on route. Option of "New destination or add as via point" will be shown. Select as add as via point. Repeat as many time you want. Works only when "go" was selected - can not be pre programmed and saved for later use.
Unfortunately the Garmin Nuvi 260W lacks the capability to save a route. If you are looking for a unit with great Trip Planning (route saving) features, the new Garmin Nuvi 3790T is a great option. I am currently using one and I love it.
Hi, 50 previous entries are automatically saved. You can view them by tapping "Where To", "Recently Found". You can also add a route to your favorites by entering the address of the location, or by doing a points of interest search, etc. When you get to the screen that says "Go", just tap "Save" and the location will be saved to your favorites. Hope it helps. Please let me know. Thanks
I am sorry that I cannot solve your problem, but I can tell you I have the same one, Garmin knows about it, but ignores it, and if you clear your trip log before you create the track you want, it MIGHT work.
You should be able to just " change time 4" and then blank out all of the fields to return the form back to it's default and as long as you have not added that time of day route plan into any of your COR's then you should not have any issues with it.
No. The unit is not set up to operate in that fashion. It will calculate the best way based on it's internal software to get to your destination from where you currently are according to GPS satellites in orbit, but you cannot tell it you want to go a certain way from point A to point B and have it follow that.
In general, once you key in an address and then select a route, the name/route will be saved in "recent destinations." If you want to use that destination, just select it. If you want to add it to "Favorites", then select "Add Favorite" and all your recent destinations will appear. Select the one you want and rename it: E.g., instead of "220 W. Walnut St." rename it "Grandma's House" and it is set.
