Minka model UC7084T worked fine for 2 years. Now the fans wont turn on. The lights work and the fans rotate by remote but fan blades will not turn on. Any suggestions? JustJayh

Do you have a Casa Vieja Probe or Minka Aire? Probably needs a new receiver.

I had the same issue. I had to replace the remote control reciever located on the fan and that did the trick.

SOURCE: Blades will not turn

The motor probally damaged while you are moving the fan to the new house.

SOURCE: I purchased a Turn of the Century 52 inch remote

I purchased a 'Turn of the Century-Apollo' model 355-6786 cieling fan. The only problem is no fan blade mounting bolts and nuts, instead I have 2 packs of mounting screws. I've dialed the Customer Service Department to no avail. Is there an unpublished WEB site?

I can not remove the glass dome to change to bulb on my Minka Aire 3 blade ceiling fan. I believe the model number is UC7084T
Push up on the glass all around to loosen it (be careful not to break). You could also spray a little WD-40 around the top of the glass. If these don't work, you might have to break the glass. Call Minka Aire @ 1-800-307-3267 and let them know the problem and they might send a replacement at no-cost.

Hardwired ceiling fan turned off by itself and stopped responding to remote control, but the light turns on/off.
I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.
