I bought an Insigina player last year it worked fine untill last month. I dont know what happened all of a sudden DVD player is not working. I did put the DVD and it read the disc and played for about 5secs and stopped and I tried to put the same disc again and again and never worked and it was ejected automatically. But the VCR is playing perfectly fine in the combo.
Does any body know how to trouble shoot the problem.
Thanks in advance

best advise is to take it back to best buy.these tvs have a two year warranty on them. i had one that stopped working and only had it two months. if best buy hassles you about the return. get in touch with a insignia rep they will get you taken care of.
FYI...the best suggestion I've seen is to hold the channel up and play buttons simutaneously....thereby causing the machine to return to the "factory initialized" state. So far so good for me. We'll see. photog1
Your unit has it seems to have developed a video problem. it could be in the video switching IC or the video processor. Its going to need a trained technician, who knows how to use an ocilliscope to find the video problem.. Good Luck
