Galaxy 88hl frequency display only has decimal point, channel readout fine

on the face plate is a button for the counter ,try pushing it several times to see if the dot moves. As long as the channel display is reading the correct channel you should be ok but you want to correct this problem . If you can't correct it contact Galaxy and they will have a tech talk to you.

Forgotten how to turn it on. It seems to be set on timer. Oops

push stop button for a few seconds until it beeps or the readout changes. unplug,,,,,plug back in....push "Select" or "menu" button depending on which machine you have....push again and again until the program you want is on the display or readout. Then push the "start" button ....Don't push any timer buttons or arrows!

My treadclimber 5000 treadils stops runing when I get step on the right one

Recalibrate the machine if speed is not registering, belts stop turning or the display readout shows an "err, LS, OS" on the face. Calibrate the Bowflex TreadClimber 5300 by plugging it in. Stand on the foot platforms, or floor mat. Do not stand on the walking belt. Insert the safety key. Press the "start" key when "CAL/PRSS/STRT" shows on the readout. If readout fails to show the "CAL/PRSS/STRT" symbol, turn off machine and turn it back on. Press "ENTER" and then "DOWN SPEED" at the same time until "CAL/PRSS/STRT" shows up on the display. Belts will start and stop during the calibration; do not be alarmed. Do not make any adjustments or interrupt the display of numbers as the unit goes through the calibrations. When the machine is finished calibrating, the readout will display "CAL...PASS" and you can press the "POWER" key to get out of the calibration section

My display shows gear default

Hi

You don't say if the car is running or not. Are you able to start it? If not check your battery, a low battery will give this problem along with the inability to move it into gear(automatic)

If it is running the engine management light should also be illuminated, you need to get the code read to go any further with this. Bit of a problem if you don't have a code reader (you can pick them up cheep on EBay) You may also be able to get the code display using the cars 'hidden diagnostics' see http://www.bluejag.co.uk there is a readout of the current fault code that can be found as you step though the diagnostics.

Hope this helps some.

No readout on front panel. UVW-1800

No front panel readout on a UVW-1800 is caused by the audio bargraph display failing. This display has an auxiliary power supply in it that provides power to the front panel display.

Sharp SPC344

You might need new batteries in the indoor readout unit, even though it appears to work normally. I just had the same problem and this fixed it. I know this is 2 year old problem but this might help someone else. Len 8-7-11

Display stopped working

My Alpine CDA-7842 works fine from a functional point of view but the display (readout) had stopped working. All the lights on the display work but the actual readout is blank. At first the readout would intermittently work now it's completely dead. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
