But in my own way of troubleshooting.
1. open your Lenovo G500
2. Check your motherboard and look for bios/cmos battery.
3. Remove the battery
4. Get flat screw driver then put it between two pins where the cmos battery attached.
5. Hold it for 10 to 15 sec.
6. Put the cmos battery back and the motherboard
7. Power it up and holla the bios setting has been reset to default.
When you start your computer. Hit the F8 key, and then a prompt will come up to boot in Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, and Safe Mode in Command Prompt. Make your choice.
WiFi drivers may need refreshing. Go to Lenovo's wen site and seek Support. Insert the Mod of your computer and go to the Drivers section. Get all new drivers, and install them all on the computer. Shut down, restart, and all should work. OR...
There is a variable (system setting) integrated into the Windows Update tab in the control panel that enables and disables notifications of automatic restart to complete the installation of system updates.
