Blackberry, copying contacts to my sim
I do tech support for BlackBerrys and I get this question a lot. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to copy contacts from a BlackBerry to the SIM card. If you're looking to make a backup copy of your contacts, it will be far easier to do it using the Backup and Restore function of the Desktop Manager program to copy the contacts to your computer. You can also synchronize them with Microsoft Outlook or even with your Yahoo! email account's address book and that, too, will probably be easier than copying them to your SIM card.
But if you're bound and determined to get the contacts on your SIM card, sadly the only way to do it is one contact at a time. Open up your address book and highlight an entry by scrolling on top of it. Press the menu key (the one with all the dots on it to the left of the trackball) and choose "view". From there, press the menu key again and scroll up to the option called "copy to SIM phone book." Click on that and it will copy that one entry to your SIM card. You'll need to repeat those instructions for every contact that you want on your SIM card.
It's definitely a hassle, but that's the only way it can be done. It's weird, too, cause you can copy all the entries at once from your SIM card to the BlackBerry, but not the other way around. Anyway, I hope this helps. Best of luck!
