Recently just brought a Logitect cordless internet handset for Skype... however it turned out harder to use than ever. I am using VISTA 1) FIRSTly i couldnt open the program "Logitech internet handset" a popup saying " please upgrade your operating system" comes out. 2) then i couldn't get my handset to connect (it shows disconnect all the time) 3)i've already choose my input and output on skype as 'Logitech internet handset" i've also changed my laptop's input and output devices on logitech internet hand set" 4)this only leaves me to the final question " DOES IT NOT SUPPORT VISTA AT ALL?" Thank you experts for your helpppp~ im so so lost... thanks

Boot computer with minimum og services and programs running.
Start Logitech handset program - this starts skype.
the handset will disconnect.
As soon I start the new LIVE MESSENGER BETA - the hanset disconnect.
Therefor I installed a msn messenger extension in Skype extras.
This gives me the opertunity to use msn messenger without using the LIVE MESSENGER PROGRAM - if I do - Logitech Handset will not work.
I had the same problem, the phone comes with a setup disk designed for XP and before, logitech have a download for vista users at the following address

After installing this and and doing some reseting my phone works, however in hindsight I would recommend against purchasing this particular phone, as it's sound quality is not as good as I expected.
Install updated driver for vista available on logitech site and uninstall messenger live (computer requires rebooting).
messenger live has compatibility issues.
Get the last vista driver....www.logitech.com/index.cfm/438/233&cl=nz,en
than go, start - all programs -click on logitech. on logitech internet handset click with right side of mause, then select properties and click on security. on "group or users names" activate " everyone" than "edit". on next page on "permission for everyone" under "allow" activate " full control". in the end you just need to make the default sounds to the headset in skype.

For "upgrade your operating system" message, you should find the .exe file and right click>properties then in compatibility tab change it to XP. But anyway this phone doesn't get incoming calls in Vista. I am gonna return it.
