What I would like to know is if this is a laptop or a desktop computer? Also is this your on board built in sound card or did you buy and install a different one?

After deleting the pictures from the memory card and putting it back into the camera, the pictures are loaded back on the card, what could be the problem? When I put a new card it acts like it is froze up.

Sounds like you failed to delete internal memory from setup menu before inserting card, and ALWAYS use camera to delete pics...from internal memory and from card...do not delete pics using a PC, or format card on PC.

Can your soundcards get deleted of computers

Yes, one can use "Add/Remove Programs" or "Add New Hardware" to remove the device-drivers, and to tell Windows to stop recognizing the sound-card.

I have a creative audigy Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Sound Card and Creative 7.1 surround sound speakers. When I was using XP all 7 speakers worked perfectly. Now with my newer Vista machine,...

Uninstall all sound drivers for the card. Delete all folder and use search to locate everything related to the sound card. Remove card , turn comp on w/o card. Turn off reinsert card.
Should fix it.
Vista has many, many issues like this.
If you have more types of sound listed in "SOUNDS" delete all but Audigy.
Re-install drivers AFTER you get ALL NEW VISTA UPDATES>

Sound card deleted

Try reinstalling the driver. If this does not work try reseating the card. Hope this helps.

Sound card deleted

If the sound card is still physically in the machine, go into device manager, right click on any component and select scan for hardware changes.

Soundcard in XP

Try manually installing it by using the Add New Hardware wizard. Make sure all other soundcard(s) are deleted from Device Manager first, though. Another thing you can try- Boot into Safe Mode, open Device Manager, remove/delete any and all instances of sound card hardware you find, reboot and see if Windows re-detects.
