Question about Symbol P 304PRO Handheld
Hej Bluegreenash, thanks for your help. Point 1 is ok alle drivers etc are ok as fasr as i can see. The device is also installed correctly. Point 2. I think you are right with this one. I dont have a code book and i think i never got it too...I will try to see if i get it. Regards Guppie73

With this problem there are 2 things that I think you need to do. 1. USB devices usually require drivers, it is unlikely that these came with windows, you need to check that your device is correctly installed and any software required to run it is installed. 2. check the configuration of the scanner, (as it will appear to work even if it is configured incorrectly. you should have a code book which you can program all of the options, as the scanner may not even know that it is connected via usb. (all the scanner knows is that it has power)

manual is here, there is a reset included but no code book, (print page as you cannot barcode scan from screen)
