Casio CTK 2000- won't work with adapter

My daughter has a Casio Keyboard CTK 2000 that has quit working with the adapter and we are going through LOTS of batteries. Is there a fuse I can check/replace? If so, where and how? Thanks.

If you have a volt/ohm meter try checking to plug that goes into the keyboard for voltage on the DC setting. If there is none, you will have to replace the adapter. Be sure to plug the adapter into the wall when you check it or you will get no reading. If that is not the problem, then it is probably the receptacle for the DC end of the power supply. What happens is that if they get bumped the solder connector on the circuit board breaks. If you do not feel comfortable fixing this yourself, you will have to find someone who is capable. Hope this helps.

My CTK 720 isn't powering on from the adapter anymore but battery power is working. I bought a new adapter but it still isn't powering on. Can this be repaired?

This could be a loose plug inside the unit or it could be a circuit that is bad. If the plug failed it is from physical damage from something like tripping over it or heavy use. That can be repaired by replacing the plug. If it is something like a component in the unit on a board then it becomes a little more involved.

What do I need to do with my Casio CTK 700 which will make it run on batteries?

If you turn it over, you will see the battery compartment. It runs on 6 AA batteries. Here's a link to the manual. Instructions are on page 13.

Keyboard not powering up. Want to change the fuse/s. Don't know where fuse is located.

There probably is NOT a fuse and usual cause is problem with the adapter or the power connectors. Broken solder of the connector in the keyboard is common. Broken cords on the adapter is common as well.

My Casio keyboard won't play with the ac adapter but plays when I install batteries. Why doesn't the ac adapter work?

Test the continuity of your Adapter (input and output), if it fails your test replace it with the same output voltage requirement's and watch the polarity as well (negative ground mostly or positive ground).

I have this casio CTK-491 Electronic Keyboard that is not working on its power suppie. It did work at first then i had to wiggle the plug to get it to work and now it stop working is the a part or easy fis...

This could be ay number of things, but assuming that the power supply is fine (the cord isn't broken on either end or down the length of the cord) then it'll probably be a loose connection in the keyboard.
With CTK models if you unscrew the back (not the metal plate) you can open it up, have a look where the connections are going from the power supply socket and re-solder to the board etc if nessesary. Also if you have some strong glue then glueing the adapter in place on the PCB as well as the headphone socket would be a good idea as these connections are used quite a lot and the parts do come loose.
