My daughter has a Casio Keyboard CTK 2000 that has quit working with the adapter and we are going through LOTS of batteries. Is there a fuse I can check/replace? If so, where and how? Thanks.
If you have a volt/ohm meter try checking to plug that goes into the keyboard for voltage on the DC setting. If there is none, you will have to replace the adapter. Be sure to plug the adapter into the wall when you check it or you will get no reading. If that is not the problem, then it is probably the receptacle for the DC end of the power supply. What happens is that if they get bumped the solder connector on the circuit board breaks. If you do not feel comfortable fixing this yourself, you will have to find someone who is capable. Hope this helps.

I do not have the power cord for my Casio CPS-2000 and can not find the one it needs.
