When you camera is connected, go to my computer and you should find it listed under other devices, you should then be able to explore the camera folders in which sould be your sd card folder, copy and paste them.

Trying to transfer photos to computor, hit transfer and it comes up Failed to initialize pluto. Don't know what to do.

You didn't say what software you are using, but there are better ways to download your photos. The best way is to connect your SD flash memory card to the computer. If your computer has a SD card slot you are in luck. If not, you can buy a USB SD reader for under $20 on line or in any computer store.

To use it, remove the SD card from your camera and insert it in the reader. Your computer will automatically recognize the SD card as an external memory device; exactly as it does with an external hard drive. You can then open the SD card and access the folder with your pictures. All you need to do is copy and paste your photos from the SD card to a new folder on your computer. It's that simple. Almost all professional photographers use this method and do not transfer pictures from the camera with the SD card in the camera.

How to put photos on my sd card

This more than likely means your internal storage is low and not the SD card and may not have anything to do with your pictures but more so with your apps. Go into settings and see if your tablet has the feature to set where your downloads and other media is stored, by default that will be your internal memory. change it to SD card or USB storage. In Settings you can also click on your apps individually and transfer them manually one by one to the SD card or USB storage or download a file manager and do so all at once. Some apps and files may not have the feature to transfer these apps the tablet came with or apps you downloaded that uses the internal memory. By default if a memory card is in you tablet pictures are automatically store there, if this is not the case the easiest way to transfer is connecting the tablet to a computer/laptop and transfer to the card or again use a file manager.

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

An external reader is the best solution. It will transfer the images way faster than using a cable connected to the camera. See if there is a setup option in your camera that chooses the SD card only for storing photos. If there is, then select it.

I use a mac. Have all pictures stored on iphone and would love to know how to get the photos to my photo frame. Not sure how to get pictures from iphoto to a memory card or whatever it is I need to do.

Use iPhoto to get the images off your iPhone and onto your Mac, then export you selected images to a media format the photo frame support.
Now without knowing the requirements of the photo frame but going to guess it accepts and USB thumb drive. Once you have imported your images into iPhoto from your iPhone, plug in the USB thumb drive to your Mac. In iPhoto, select the images you wish to move to your photo frame ( either select an album or individual images). Then go to the File Menu and pull down to Export and save the images to your Thumb drive. For best results for image quality on the photo frame you will want to match the export size with the native resolution of the photo frame.
