Question about Beko 324250WN 28" TV
Hi, can anyone help me? Recently bought second hand beko 32" tv from a neighbour. It was working perfectly till last night but now wont switch on. Standby light comes on but wont turn on using remote or buttons on tv. Tried unplugging for sometime, changing sockets but still nothing. Whats wrong with it? Should I buy a new 1 or get it fixed? and how much will it cost?
Beko tvs turning themselves over or volume turning up and down or not turning on by the remote can be caused by a faulty button on the remote control, the buttons rubber pad sometimes have liquid inside and can leak causing it to effectivly act as though it is permenantly pressed, a temporary repair is to dismantle the remote and dry it all around the key pad, permenant repair is a new remote.

Try pressing one of the number keys instead of the power button on the remote

SOURCE: wont come on
Instead of just unplugging the TV, perform a power drain:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house. 2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors. 3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and hold down it's power button. Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device that appears to be dead.
If the TV still won't turn on, then it appears something is wrong with it's mainboard since the TV is still receiving power because the standby light is still coming on. The cost of fixing an older TV's mainboard could be costly or impossible if the part is discontinued.
