Camera "Freezing" The camera has a habit of freezing after a while. This occurs both whilst taking photos and when I upload onto my pc and I have to start uploading all over again. I have found that I can get the camera started again by taking out the battery and putting it back in but this is not an ideal solution. Can you help?

Hello,
To delete all the contents off the camera / media card you will need to navigate to the format option in the camera menu. Press menu then settings then format. NOTE this will delete EVERYTHING off the card.
To upload video files to your computer try taking the card out of the camera and connect it to your computers card reader (or buy one if you need) and open up the removable drive in my computer, copy the files you need onto the PC hard drive from the removable drive. You could also use the Intelli-studio software that came with the camera to transfer video files.

If you used the -let`s say- Windows Explorer- then it is strange this happened, unless, you pressed and held the "shift" key down whilst dragging the photos onto your computer.
To get them back onto your camera, you need to:
a) locate the place your camera stores the photos and go into that directory (ie wiht the MS explorerer) b) open another MS explorer window and locate the photos on your computer c) select all photos you want to go back onto your camera d) left click and hold the this button on one of the selected photos e) drag them onto the Explorer window showing the directory of the camera f) release the left mouse button
If the photos are saved on the sd card in the camera you should be able to copy them onto your pc by taking out the card and inserting it into the pc. If you have no card slopt use a card reader with a usb end. The photos will then open up with any program capable of opening photos such as paint, photoshop or whatever. The easyshare software is only necessary if you are getting the photos to your pc via the cable which came with the camera. Personally I just pop the sd card into the pc and use mgi.photosuite or paint to open it. If you copy the photos onto the pc just double click on one of the photos and it will most likely open with the default program.
This model doesn't allow you to upload photos from a PC to your memory card whilst the camera is connected to the PC. You will need a memory card reader.
first, are u using the camedia program??? if so try just connect the camera to the pc and read the card as u would read a disk, and copy the pictures to the computer, after that format the card on the computer with a card reader, and after format it again on the camera.
good luck
