I had the same problem - my fix is simple, cheap and works great - obtain some of those double sided hook and loop (Velcro) straps used to tie cables in a neat bundle - the 3/8" - 1/2" wide version works best, these are approx 4" long and usually black in color - costs approx $2 for a package of 10 straps.
Cut off a piece from one of the straps, approx 1" long and glue this to on side of the neck of the charging base. Glue the reverse side of the remainder of the Velcro strap to the other side of the neck, position it with enough length to go over the top of the push in plug (when closed), at the top of the neck, and cover the full length of the first piece of Velcro glued to the other side of the neck + remember allow some additional length so you can easily grab the end of the long piece to release the Velcro grip and let the plug raise clear of the razor.
When the glue is dry, pull the long end over the top and position it to hold the neck plug completely down, and be retained by the first piece of Velcro on the neck - trim the long piece to length, remember you need a little extra length, to make releasing the Velco grip easier. I just pull on the long end of the Velcro, this closes the plug into the razor and simply push the Velcro together to start the cleaning process - simple and cheap.

It’s not a difficult job if you want to do this yourself, you should require some basic knowledge about soldering-resoldering components. Error F9-2 in your Gemini range means door upper latch unlock failure and to resolve this issue you'll have to check for obstruction in door lock mechanism and replace the door latch switch or assembly if required. It’s not a difficult job if you want to do this yourself, you should require some basic knowledge about soldering-resoldering components. To start with you’ll have to open the back of the unit and then replace the ICs(STK ICs) which are located behind the black heat sink and also check the resistors as if they are short the ICs might blow again after sometime. There are repair kits available which includes repair instructions with the parts, if you want to do it yourself you can buy and repair it yourself. Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the eject mechanism and the drive motor connected with the tape mechanism. Try and align the drive motor. Also check the push-pull arm of the tape mechanism and make sure that the springs connected with the mechanism are fine.
