I have recentley started getting a thin black vertical line about 4 inches from the right hand side of my screen this comes and goes. Can anyone help
Hi all .ive had the same problem,a thick black line down screen.sometimes it flickers from top to bottom and other permantly in view.but i have solved it.forget your ic boards and taking apart tv.have you got either a ps3 or wii connected to tv.if so unplug power lead from socket and relocate in seperate socket.make sure the lead is completely free of any other leads and you might just find this works.i think the power lead creates some sort of frequency that the tv picks up .good luck hope it works

Similarly, I have a 4"wide vertical line just left of center. All the colors that should be there just dipped down inside the vertical liner. My Panasonic 42" hi def plasma is 20 months old
I have a Panasonic plasma as well with the same propblem-lower right hand corner, a strip about two inched wide that comes and goes. It started a bout 6 mos after I got the TV. Anty solutions out there??
