Please make sure that the wireless controlloer power switch is set to "on." Please also give the train a new command. If it does not start to run, either your engine or remote need repair and you would need to reach out to Lionel by calling 1 (586) 949-4100.

Lionel troubleshooting

Two steps: (1) verify all wires are connected (use a Volt Ohm meter if you have one.
(2) If there's a motor involved (and I assume there is) ... first try cleaning the brush end (that touches the commutator) with alcohol, and lightly sand with 400 grit sandpaper (keeping it as flat as possible). If that doesn't work, try stretching the brush springs slightly. If that doesn't work, try replacing the brushes with new ones ... (and they generally come with new springs).

Not much on the train stuff, but maybe this link can help. I see a few parts list .pdf file and a link below that for a diagram for the bridge.

Blinking green light

Check to make certain that the batteries in the remote are good. Make sure that when using the remote, you orient the antenna in an upright position and are within 6 to 8 feet of the locomotive.
If the train has been running successfully and the problem has only just started, clean your wheels and the pick up roller on the locomotive removing any fluff etc. then clean the track. If the loco is still not working contact the Lionel Service Department on

It sounds like the gears have worn out or come adrift somehow. You will be able to get replacement gears from any of the Lionel authorised dealers Lionel Authorized Dealers or their replacement parts service Replacement Parts

It sounds as though you may have two defective transformers. Lionel has reported problems with some of their smaller transformers. I would have the transformers and the engines checked by a Lionel service station or contact their customer service department for help.

Anniversary train clock; clock does not work

It's not the motor it's the unit in the middel that works the clock it self. I have the same problem. When the clock passes the hour it is supose to send a signal to start the motor. There are two tiny pices metal that are supose to contact each other on the hour and they break off easy.

You have to replace the clock unit and reconect the two black wires.

Try by passing it. The two black wires that come from the clock unit. Cut them and touch them together. Make sure the light sencer on the front is not covered.

Bobcat A300 steering problems, left rear turns by itself, and snail speed stuck on. Is it possibly joystick problem? It has these codes in it: 5PD01 & 75-16. If you hit the joystick it will work a little longer or if you shut it off and turn back on it will work for a few more minutes before having the same problem.

servos slightly quivering with occasional jolt brand new transmitter and receiver T14SG, R7108SB receiver, 7985 digital high torq servos, 4.8v. Hitec Gyro. no pull pull cables or long rods that might cause interference. What i was thinking maybe not enough voltage for the digital servos.

Caterpillar 420E backhoe stalling I have a Caterpillar 420E backhoe that I recently installed a newly rebuilt injector pump on. It ran really good after installing but after a short time it began to stall and then die. You can wait about 30 secs. and restart it but it only runs for a short time and is not at full power. I have changed fuel filters but see no water in the filters when draining. The priming pump seems to be working fine. I changed one of the main fuel lines to the filter and don't think there is a plugging issue in the lines. I'm changing the fuel fill cap to see if I'm having an issue there. Any help is appreciated.
