Question about Samsung SL502 Digital Camera

1 Answer

My Samsung SL502 suddenly quit working, it attempts to power on and dies, I've tried 3 batteries(all brand new) and 3 different chargers, usb, wall and a regular plug in. It was fine one day and then just died. The camera is only 2 1/2 years old.

It is the world we live on: Consume! However, if it works at all, you might want to try to download a new driver; http://download.driverguide.com/driver/SL502/Samsung/d1739878.html

SOURCE: Won't charge!!

Hey ppl, my camera has just doen the same, it wont charge although it works completely fine in all other cases. Ive had it just over a year. Has anyone tried using a new cable? Or is it defintely the camera thats the problem? Either was a simple solution is to buy a charger for the battery itself, one thats independant of the camera. Its not as convienient, as you need to remove the battery and place it in a stand to charge, but it does solve the problem :-D They cost about £10.

SOURCE: Samsung S630 camera says "low battery" then shuts off

This camera needs rechargeable batteries usually lasts about a week with much use. I thought what a waste of batteries then tried these rechargable and the situation hasn't occured . it is probably because it is small digtal camera which uses alot of power.

SOURCE: My samsung batteries keep dying. I just put new

Hello :

Try to clean the base where the batteries set . Maybe the base became rusty or got some isolation stuff on it . If that didn't help , then there must be a problem with the main PCB [ printed circuit board ] . For that you need to take your CAM to a repair shop .

good luck .

We got a RULU in 12/2013. It worked for 3 months and now can not charge i

Some tablet brands will not recognize certain charger brands or connections.
First, try all available connections-USB-wall inverter, and direct computer connection (making sure the computer is awake and logged in). Second, try restarting your tablet. Third, try gently wiggling the connections on both ends, to see if it recognizes a charge. Finally, leave it plugged in for a few hours, even if it says it isn't charging. You may have a trickle charge-to put it simply, the cord is not giving the device enough power to qualify as a charge, but there is power traveling through the cord. If the charge level goes up a little over that time span, you have a trickle.
If these don't work, just purchase a new charger. They're sold everywhere-Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, 7-Eleven, name a store and they probably sell USB charger cords.
I hope I helped.

My Samsung s5 is not charging

try this

SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 - NO POWER, BATTERY, CHARGING AND CHARGER ISSUES alltabshighlighted.jpg

No power, battery, charging and charger issues

This guide contains troubleshooting steps and advice to help resolve issues you may experience when attempting to charge the handset.
After performing each step, please test to see if the issue is resolved.
Symptoms:
  • Battery not charging
  • Battery is not lasting long
  • Phone won't charge
  • Charging error
  • Failure to charge
  • Display remains black or blank
  • No power
  • Boot failure
  • Overheating
Troubleshooting Questions
  • Are you using the correct equipment?Make sure you are using an approved Samsung wall charger and USB charging cable. Other brands of charging accessories may have different voltage parameters and could cause charging issues when used with Samsung devices.
  • Have you charged your phone for longer than 30min? Leave your phone plugged in to the charger for about 30min without powering on. In some cases, it may take slightly longer for your phone to charge.
  • Is the battery icon displayed on the screen when charging? After charging your phone for a little while you should get a battery charging icon appear on the screen which will indicate that your battery is charging properly.
If the charging icon appears, leave your phone for a little longer before you try to switch your phone on.
If however, the screen is blank and nothing is displayed, follow the below troubleshooting steps.
  • Is the charging cable plugged into a USB port? Some charging cables can disconnect from the wall outlet adapter and plug directly into a USB port. However, when plugged into a USB port, the charging process is much slower due to the limited power output of USB ports. Instead, plug the device directly into a wall outlet to speed up the charging process.
  • Is the outlet faulty? Try a different outlet or check for a switch connected to the outlet. If possible, try powering a different device on the same outlet.
  • Does another USB cable, or wall charger work? Charging issues can occur if either the battery or charging cable is damaged. Verify that the charging contacts are clean. If necessary, clean the contacts using a cotton swab and rubbing on isopropyl alcohol.
If possible, test the charging cable by plugging it into another device and seeing if the device charges. Alternatively, try charging the device with a different cable. This may mean changing out the cable or the adapter on two-piece chargers.
If charging through a car charging kit, ensure that the car engine is running, and if possible try to charge other devices using other cables, through the same car kit. If none will charge, then it is likely there is a fault with the car charging kit. It is recommended to continue to cross-test devices, cables, and car kits until the problem device can be identified.
If the device charges when using a different USB cable or wall charger, the issue most likely lies with the charging accessory. In this case, follow the approved charger repair / replacement process.
Also, if the charger is connected via an extension or other multi-socket adapter, remove this and plug the charger directly into the wall-mounted socket. This will eliminate the possibility of a fault with the adapter.
If you are still unable to charge your device, continue to the next step.
  • Has the phone experienced any shock or exposure to water? Accidental physical shock to a handset can sometimes cause problems to arise with battery or charger, as these components contain delicate parts, particularly. Damage can occur either to the component itself, or to the component's connection to the motherboard.
Water exposure can also lead to damage of these components, however due to the slow way in which this type of damage can manifest itself, the cause may not always be readily obvious.
With any physical damage of this nature, the only recourse is to contact the device manufacturer, and follow their approved repair or replacement process.

My kindle is not charging

Is the device new or still under warranty? Is return to the store (RMA--"Return Merchandise Authorization"--through an online vendor) still possible? Extended warranty?

Is the charger (and outlet) OK? If you may attempt to use USB current from your PC/Laptop/etc., is that port workable and powered? Have you attempted an alternate method of charging? Is syncing then possible?

Chargers are not invulnerable--rarely, they sometimes overheat and die. After all, they're fabricated PRC items too--thus, even they may prove defective. (They're far less complex than a Kindle or phone, though--defective chargers thus prove quite rare.)

Chargers can't last indefinitely or through overly heavy use, either. (Chargers do tend to last longer than devices--failure proves quite rare!) Is the charger unusually hot after plug-in? (Such failure could prove a great danger to electronic devices. Very rarely, even fire or sparking is possible.) Is charger connection at the wall OK? (Is the outlet overloaded?)

Is it a "block" charger?: These may be replaced easily. Just get the connector and the Volts correct--with sufficient amperage (current). You don't need even to obtain the same brand and model as OEM--that which came originally with your charger. Online, amazon, Radio Shack, etc. may prove very helpful for such purposes.

Does the connector have sufficiently good contact through your Kindle's circuitry to its batteries? (Is the connection overly loose? Often, this occurs over time.)

Are you certain that the charging cable is OK? Does the connector in the Kindle need "doctoring" with a small tool, somehow? If the batteries are dead, it's likely possible to replace them.

It's possible that the device simply is dead (shorted-out)--power surge or fluctuation certainly are possible and likely culprits.

An extremely remote possibility is that the CPU or other key chipset is dead--even those prove useful for limited numbers of cycles. (Failure then implies quite extreme usage! Probably not!) It's not immortal!

V3i..battery problem -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i notice that when i charge my v3i with the charger, it kept saying battery charging, it never says...

What you are describing is that there is an issue with the USB charging port on your V3i. Different pins are used when charging via the wall as opposed to via a USB computer port. It really is quite common with the V3i, you can search on the internet to get your port repaired. If you cannot find anyone, feel free to ontact me, outlet3g in the repair directory.

Good luck!!
