Where can I find a replacement flash head tilting/rotating lock-release button?

Hi Kaye, I reckon the only place you'll get one is from a Nikon Service Centre, or a discarded/broken SB600 from a camera shop.

Dear Sir/madam,

Doing the resetting the settings it will be fixed. Press a and b approximately 2 seconds reset all setting, including the custom settings.

Use a good contact cement but don't use super glue .

SOURCE: After one month and 4 days the flash head does not

I have the same problem after one week old. Nikon has told me that they are not aware of any one else having the same fault.

How do i change out the ignition switch?

Ign Systems 8D - 19 Service manual '92 Dak
Disconnect neg battery cable Tilt column:Remove tilt lever (counterclockwise) Remove upper and lower covers (3 screws) Remove ign switch mounting screws (3) with torx bit Gently pull switch away from column Release two connector locks on the seven-terminal wiring connector. Remove connector from ign switch Release connector lock on the Key-in-switch and Halo Light four terminal connector. Remove connector from switch Remove key cylinder from switch as follows: With key inserted and ign switch in the LOCK position use small screwdriver to depress the key cylinder retaining pin flush w/ key cylinder surface Rotate the key clockwise to the OFF position The key cylinder should now be unseated from the ign switch assembly With key cylinder in unseated position (key cylinder bezel about 1/8 inch above ign switch halo light ring) Rotate key counterclockwise to LOCK position and remove key Remove key cylinder INSTALLATION; Install electrical connectors to switch making sure locking tabs are fully seated into connector Mount ign switch to column Shifter must be in PARK position Park-lock dowel pin on ign assy must engage with park-lock slider linkageVerify ign switch is in lock position (flag is parallel w/ ign switch terminals..off to the right) Apply dab of grease to flag and pin Position park-lock link and slider to mid-travel Position ign switch against lock housing face Be sure pin is inserted into park-lock link contour slot Tighten screws Assemble cover Tighten more screws Tilt column and install tilt lever (clockwise) instsall neg battery cable Gently insert key cylinder into ign switch asssy until it bottoms Insert key and gently push key (inward) and rotate clockwise to end of travel Rejoice in how much money you just saved yourself

The flash shooting distance range does not appear at horizontal position.

Please open flash cabinet again and check any Jack/ connector can be lose. Becareful while open tha flash because it has high voltage inside.

Model # 2351 Tilt is locked closed

Motor head will not tilt back

Push down slightly on the head and then the button will go in further and the top will release. ((this answer after I just bought it home and was about to take it back to the store!!))

How do i tighten up the sterring wheel?

this is probely a tilt wheel alot to it really remove steering wheel and lock plate(buy these tools or u will be sorry steerwheel remover,lock plate remover.) unscrew tilt wheel lever combination switch lever-pull out on to remove ,remove scew retaining turn signal bracket to lever,all screws holding down turn signal assembley make sure u tilt colum up .round silver button looking thing with square hole ,use medium philups screwdriver and put in hole and press in and turn it will release and come outward this is the spring for tilt wheel 5/16 head bolt remove this is a pin to hol lock cylinder in pull lock cylinder out ther are bearings in the shaft, hard to replace and to find anywhere,carefull,,,each side of colum ther is a funny looking flat round circle, they have a theaded hole inthem u will need a speasal tool for this aalso,,,parts store pivot dowle removal tool,,, this housing can come off now there are 3 screws to tightin up u will see them

Removing ignition switch

Grand Am 3.1 liters REMOVE Negative battery cable. Air bag fuse. Lower left insulator panel (3) screws. Disconnect 2-way yellow SIR connectors (2). Tilt lever. Upper and lower steering column trim cover. Turn lock cylinder to run position. Push against locking button on back side of bearing and housing assembly and remove lock cylinder. INSTALL Lock cylinder to housing assembly. CAUTION : Rotate the lock cylinder to the "RUN" position. Depress the lock cylinder button. Gently push the lock cylinder into place while rotating the key approximately 5°in the counter-clockwise direction. Upper and lower column cover (3) Torx(R) screws. Tilt lever. Connect 2-way yellow SIR connections (2). Lower left insulator panel (3) screws. Air bag fuse. Negative battery cable.

Sony DSC-H3 Flash not poping up!!!

The lock pin on the dsc-h3 was tilted. I pushed it with my fingernail and now the flash pop up when I need it to. Thanks!

3030G pan tilt head

The little brass arm is supposed to be a safety switch. In one position the release lever bumps into the brass are and will not turn so the quick release willnot come off. In the other position the brass arm is away from the lever so it swings freely and the quick release plate will come off. With the brass arm open the quick release lever shoulde lock open until you push the quick releae in place. If none of this seem to work on your head, you may be missing parts.
