check between the rollers there will be small bits of paper jammed in that is the reason.

The JAM DUPLEX message appears if you remove a sheet of paper from the face down output tray after only one side has printed.
The paper sizes you can use with the duplex printing function are A4, Letter or Legal.
If the paper adjustment lever for duplex printing is not set correctly for the paper size, paper jams may occur and the printing will be out of position on the page.


Open the back output tray.
Use both hands to slowly pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit.

Close the back output tray.
If the paper jam cannot be cleared, go to the next step.
Pull the duplex tray and paper tray out of the printer.
Pull the jammed paper out of the printer
Put the duplex tray and paper tray back in the printer.

you may want to check again on the printer.if it show paper jam.

open up the fron door and bnack door. remove the toner and check if there is any small pices of paper still jam in the printer.

if not try and see if the fuser flag is not sitting properly. you might need to do small adjustment.

There is a door around the very back of the printer, if your printer is slightly encased in as mine is you can't see it. That is where the Paper jam 2 is

my experience says jamming in duplex area using card stock. this may occur if default is duplexing. set default to single side and / or try same job using plain a4 80gm2

Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

I think it might be useful to get some idea:

Replace all electrolytic capacitors in power supply section on mainboard. caused by poor quality lower voltage caps being used in powersupply. Problem will reoccur every 2 to 3 years if 105oC caps are not used. If mainboard is replaced with new mainboard problem will reoccur within same timeframe. Fix old mainboard using higher voltage and higher temp caps and problem will be gone for good.

Do you use the duplexer a lot? It sounds as if the rollers inside need to be cleaned. I don't recommend doing this yourself as it involves lifting the printer off of the duplexer, and I don't want to be responsible if you accidentally drop the printer or you or someone gets hurt. But that's how to get to it; the offending rollers should be visible, and may be cleaned with a clean rag moistened with a multi-purpose cleaner. Alcohol is what's recommended, but I shy away from it as it's known to dry the rubber, and all you want to do it clean the built-up dirt and paper duct off of it. Let me know how it works, if you do it! If you opt not to, call a qualified printer technician.
