How do you run the cleaning sequence for this printer? I am starting to get a line down the right of page. I may need new toner but I would like to try cleaning first. Is it on the cd? If so, please tell me and i will try to find.
thank you

There is no cleaning sequence for the 1350w. I usually just pull the toner unit out and clean the roller, etc. Compressed air for the moving parts and hard to reach places. Best to do it outside.

check the size of the document make sure the print drivers and the printer are correct and matching you might also need to replace the fuser unit or the transfer roller and or image unit
the toner comes with a drum if you look at the drum you should see black line try to clean it by rolling it forth and back or there is some toner inside the printer most of the time there is a scratch on the drum ,
If the line is always in the same spot, it's because of damage to the image drum. In this printer the drum and toner cartridge are in one unit, so replacing the cartridge will fix the problem. New OEM cartridges are around $100, and after-market compatible ones are about $60. Those prices are from a few vendors I found by searching for replacement drums on Google.
Please diregard. Since I was using an aftermarket toner cartridge, I took a chance and bought an OEM cartridge and... voila... it's working fine. Apparently, all I had was a bad cartridge.
If you're getting white lines, you are running out of toner, but if the lines are black, I believe the drum is the problem .Remove the OPC drum
and check its surface for lines, if there are any lines, you can bet it will be
printed on the paper.

Time has nothing to do with how long a toner cartridge will last. What is the page count on the cartridge?
Don't expect too much from it if it is the original cartridge that came with the printer as they have a very short fill.
If the line is solid from top to bottom of the page, the problem can be in different parts of the printer. Try a different toner cartridge if you have an extra one.
