Unfortunately, the screen is soldered onto the logic board. You may be able to have it repaired, but it will probably cheaper to buy a new one. Sorry.

When i turn my sansa e260 on the screen says key locked and under that it says system shutdown

There's a slide switch on the top of the unit, near the headphone jack. Slide the switch away from the jack to unlock the unit.

If that doesn't do it, then the plasic piece under the switch is broken, and you'll have to open the unit to fix it.

Broken Sansa e260 screen needs fixin

Broken screens, unfortunately, are not being replaced by the manufacturer. You will have to replace the player outright. If the screen ALONE is damaged, you can buy a broken version (as long as the breakage is not in the screen), and you can superglue a screen back on - note: glue can damage other parts - doesn't look pretty. The problem is that, usually, it is not JUST the screen that is broken - an internal component is damaged as well. It is not cost-effective for the Mp3 manufacturer's to repair this kind of damage, so they just offer replacements. Sorry!

Broken Screen

Call Sansa to get THEIR price. View eBay to find a reasonable price. It is definitely NOT cost-effective to repair it.

Broken screen and usb won't open but i can charged tho!! help

just a screen replacement would probably cost as much as another e260 - I see e260's for sale for $80-100 or you can get refurbished e250's for $40 (just got one from buy.com)
