Question about iLO (2 GB) MP3 Player
If the player allows you to add music on it via USB as a Removable Disk, then copy all the music off the player onto your computer and then format the MP3 player by right clicking it in "My Computer" and going to "Format...". Start it up without music and see how it goes, if it doesn't turn itself off, fill it with a little bit of music, then a little more until you either put your music back on, or until it screws up again. Good luck!

Well since you kindly rated me as "not helpful" it's obvious it didn't work. In which case, the unit will be faulty and should be returned to the manufacturer for a replacement if it's under warranty. If it's not under warranty, time to find a new MP3 player.
Well good luck once you get the USB cable!

Whoa! I didn't rate you! I haven't had an opportunity to try your solution. I have to buy a new USB cable. I am not sure how you received that rating.
Well, I moved my music to my computer and I reformated but it didn't work. It sorted up to 80% but then turned itself off and started over again. I am going to try deleting some music and see if that works.
