Wont heat temperature - Blodgett (ZEPHAIREG-DOUB) Double Oven

Unfortunately the Self clean function will often break ovens. The heat is just too severe and breaks elements, control boards and the door locks and wiring. You need a service call. If you are VERY lucky, disconnecting the power at the breaker for an hour MAY release the lock and error message.

Self-Clean Ovens
The oven is cleaned by heat, at temperatures above normal cooking temperatures. During the cleaning cycle the oven is heated to about 880 degrees Fahrenheit (471° C.). At this temperature, food soils inside the oven decompose, leaving behind a small amount of ash.

My advice is never use the self clean function.

I understand that your Frigidaire duel fuel oven is not heating properly. I see that you have replaced your temperature sensor and heating elements and your oven is still not working. This could be a possible issue with your control panel or wiring harness. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional technician out. Sounds like temperature sensor if you feel both elements getting warm.

After powering on set the temperature to cooking temperature. since its electric it is less problematic. if there is no alarm then check the probe.

Defective temperature control

Hi.

Since the oven has two heating elements, if the oven does not heat up on any condition, and both broiling and baking element are not working, then the most common fault causing the problem is a faulty temperature probe.

The temperature probe is located inside the oven cavity.
On most ovens there is only one temperature sensor, connected in line on the circuit from electronic oven control to baking and broiling element.
When the probe fails, it will affect both baking and broiling function.

The temperature probe is tested reaching the probe, cutting or disconnecting its wiring, and testing the probe at room temperature, with a multimeter set on impedance at Rx1. If the multimeter reads no continuity (circuit open), then the probe must be replaced.

If the temperature probe is good, then parts that may be responsible for the fault are oven electronic control and wiring. Having both elements failing at the same time would be rather unusual.

If only one element is failing, then the fault is probably the element. In that case you can test the element removing it from the cavity, and testing Ohms on the element. If circuit is open , then the element must be replaced.

It could be that the oven temperature control sensor has failed 'open circuit' and is not allowing the elements to heat.

If oven is getting hot , but not hot enough, then the thermostat is probably faulty.if no heat at all, then you need to replace the oven element.

Hi,
If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...
