VCR picture with INSIGNIA 26'' lcd tv

Hello
When i had my old tv. The VCR worked well: I can see picture moving when i push ''PLAY'' bottom and '' FORWARD'' bottom.
With my new tv ( Insignia 26'') when i do same thing about the vcr, it goes forward ( or rewind ) but i don't have any picture so i don't know when stop the forward or the rewind. What' s solution about that?
Thank you

I would check if you have selected the correct tv input on you remote. the shadow movement you see may be bleeding over from another input. on your TV remote you will see "input", keep clicking it, delaying a little each time, until you get to the correct input you are connected to.

INSIGNIA 26" FLAT SCREEN MODEL #246ALC27FB26006527

These LCDs have a feature to turn OFF after some time if they do not sense any signal getting into the TV, that is why when you use it as a PC monitor and leave ON; it will turn OFF by itself.
The short term solution to make the LCD power up properly when using it as a PC monitor would be to unplug it when it turns OFF by itself and plug it back in.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Did you try using teh SV cables supplied or the RF cable?
Easier to use the AV Cables. 100% should work. Connect Video OUT of VCR ro VIDEO IN of TV and AUDIO OUT (L) and (R) of VCR to AUDIO IN (L) & (R) of TV. Select AV or VIDEO on TV using TVs remote. Play a Cassette. should work!!
