Question about Frigidaire GLEH1642DS Front Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
MSCMSS was right. Although the installers removed the shipping brackets and told me to save them, they neglected to remove the foam block the was securing the the tub. There was no way for the machine to balance the load with this block in place. Thanks so much for the help.

Remove the bottom panel, it is held on by two screws, and make sure the foam block and shipping brackets are removed. My installer left them in.

I had the same problem with mine. Found that both shock mounts were broken Of course these broke because they are made out of plastic and the shocks are metal.(also one broken pin)

Sounds like one of the stabilizers is broken... resulting in an unbalanced load. Of course it could be just an unbalanced load... if you redistribute the load does it still make the same noise? Also does it have the same noise when small or big (or no) loads?

That's a great question, Roth!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire washer is making a loud noise during the spin cycle. This could be an issue with your bel, motor, or tub. In order to find the cause of your noise you may need to disassemble your washer. This is not a simple DIY job and I would recommend contacting a technician to come out. This will help prevent any future issues or personal injuries. -Matt
