Avaya acs we had a power cut in the building and when power came on the phone system is having problem with incoming calls it lights up all red led ext 1234. how can correct this?

Easy w/ some more info. what release acs? no clue maybe... then you can "default" system which restores system setting to day 1 and you then se date and time , then assign ringing to phones after that. UNLESS you have Auto Attendant and / or voice mail card . other settings must be programmed in this case. -Bob

If you have a Backup & Restore card you can manually restore the system. If not you will have to restore everything by manually including voicemail greetings and automated attendants.

After power outage incoming calls cause all lines to light up

If this is happening on the entire system, then make sure you have the number of lines programmed correctly. If this is correct you may have a bad processor card. If this is a happening on an extension only, then the port/card may be damaged I would temporarily move the extension to another port on a different card and see if the trouble follows. If it does you have an issue with the phone not the port/card.

That is not possible on the Partner ACS. The oONLY thing that would be close to what you want is Remote Call Forward.

As long as you have a Partner ACS release 6 or higher,

You need to set the permissions on a phone, then set that phone to forward out to teh external number. Then when calls come in, you transfer to that phone, which will forward to a cell or external number....boom, done!

Thats it though.
