We have had this TV for about six months, no problems. Yesterday, I dusted the TV (did not spray anything on TV, but on a ''duster'' that then dusted the top and sides and around the screen, not on the screen), Tonight, after a while, it will emit a loud static noise that will after a while dissapate, but then come back. How do I clear this?

I had similiar issue with 32 inch...bracket required an adapter which I found through Best Buy. Check out Sanus.com They should give you discription of what you need and tell you where to get it. Adapter was very cheap ($19.00 or so). It is essentially two metal bars that bolt to regular wall mount, the bars will line up with bolt holes on TV.

Well, I can tell you it shouldnt have anything to do with your not having an HD box. The TV does not require a HD signal to give you a quality picture. The HD box only gives you the enhanced HD signal, but should work as any regular TV without it. How do you have it connected?
