I am tryign to uninstall fix it, get error 5006

Installation or uninstallation of an application or game fails and gives the following error code:

This issue is due to a previous installation not finishing properly

Solution 1. Rename the Installshield folder

Make sure you've enabled Show hidden files and folders.

Find and rename the Installshield folder:

Windows 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Installshield

Windows 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Installshield

If there is an Installshield file in the Common Files folder, rename that one also (e.g. to Installshield_OLD).

Solution 2. Remove all traces of previous uninstall

If renaming the Installshield folder had no effect, find and delete any traces of uninstalled applications.

Applications that can assist you are: Revo Uninstaller, Windows Installer Cleanup Utility , CCleaner.

Alternatively, do a manual clean-up:

Close all running programs. Then clear the Temp folder (found via input of %temp% in Start > Search or Start > Run).

Use the Windows registry editor to delete registry entries related to the program.

Restart the computer.

Double-click the Setup.exe file
At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Sony USB Driver" screen, click the Next button.
At the "Information" screen, click the Next button. Please wait as the files are installed.
At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." is selected and click the Finish button.

I tried the link bellow to install the dynex dx wc 100 camera but i keep getting an error message when it get's to 70% of the download taht reads "PrepareInf Error 2" when i click ok or close the message...

The File setup in folder DX-WC101 (or 100) extract with.WinRAR.. In new folder "Disk1" file "setup" go to "propertys" and choose "compatibility". Put Windows XP with SP3. It's all, start installation. Will all 100%! Sorry for my English :)

My BB pearl 8110 keeps rebooting on its own.

Right-click the Windows Taskbar.
Select Task Manager.
Select windows installer from the Applications tab.
Click End Task.
Perform a clean uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
Reboot the computer.
Reinstall the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Follow the trouble shooting steps for uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Close BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, if it is running.

Is the Driver Detective - InstallShield Wizard is what the IC150C

1st You download Webcam Driver.
InstallShield Wizard is what the IC150CAfter this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Desktop Software Will Not Load!

The problem that you are encountering right now is a windows problem. "idriver.exe" is related to the installshield application on your computer and installshield is used to install application on your computer, so if idriver is not working, installshield will not work also. I suggest try the windows update. It might fix the problem.

Error Containing "0x123454" when installing software

Any error code beginning with "0x" is related to a problem with incompatibilities with the InstallShield program which is used to install all of the components. To fix this find the "InstallShield" folder on the computer (the location varies by computer OS, but is generally located in "c:\Program Files\Common Files\") and move the contents to a new folder on the desktop of the compter. If everything works well you can discard the new folder (and the old InstallShield contents). Run the Nikon installer again and it will install properly.
