I have a Lenovo P500 ideapad. I tried to press Fn + Space Bar to turn on my backlit, but it didn't work.

If you don't have realtime experience disassembling a laptop, be aware thet it might be more complicated then just following a video

does not say a thing about any backlit keyboard. On page 5 you can read about backlit display, to toggle on and off with F9. That is all.

Did you try "Fn + Space"? If this does not work then odds are you have a model without a backlit keyboard.

If the spacebar has a keyboard icon on the left side, press and hold the Function key (Fn) and then tap the space bar one time. Press the F12 key. Press the F5 key. Press the special key dedicated to turning the back light on and off.

it migt be turn off. try to press Fn + F1 + F2 + F3 + F4 + F5 + F6 + F7 + F8 + F9 + F10 + F11 + F12 to turn OFF or to turn ON. or you may go to BIOS to turn it on from there.

You can disable/enable the camera by pressing Fn + Esc key once. This will turn on the camera.

I work for Lenovo and I know these computers very well. With your concern, I believe the wireless switch is on but still it tells you that you need to switch on the wireless device. Now, to fix this issue, do these:

1. Press and hold "Fn" on the lower left hand side of the keyboard, beside the space bar.
2. While holding "Fn" down press "F5".

I think try to turn on first the webcam by pressing fn+esc you will have an indicator on the lower right side of the display if its on or off. After you turn on the webcam use the program for the webcam or try to download it from lenovo website.
