open explorer and go to tools, folder options, view, click on don't show
hidden files or
folders, click on hide ext and hide protect click apply... Format mp3 player
and tranfer music back to the sansa
You can make another music folder (music1)put music in this....Keep it on msc this reads expansion cards and the sansa USB mode located on the sansa if asked to change to MSC goto menu press enter
scroll to settings press enter scroll to usb mode press enter scroll to msc
press enter
On your Sansa Fuze, go to the "Settings" menu, then go to "System Settings", then go to "USB Mode", then select "MSC".
Now, connect it to your computer, then double-click "My Computer" on your computer's desktop to run Windows Explorer. You should see your Sansa Fuze show up as "SANSA FUZE". Double click on "SANSA FUZE", and you should see a folder called "MUSIC". Copy your music into that folder. When done, unplug your Fuze and your music will be on it.
1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode) 2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version 3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)

1 connect your sansa to comp via usb cable 2 right click start on windows desktop go to explore 3 scroll down to your sansa's drive rifght click it go to properties 4 go to tools tab and click "check now" under error checking will take awhile and will erase your memory on the sansa but it will work again

Once you have it in recovery mode, create a file called "sansa.fmt" and put in on "16mb" (Which is what your sansa shows up as in My Computer when it is in recovery mode). Once you have put the file on the "16mb" disconnect the cable and allow the device to restart unlocking it before it boots back up.
My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously.
What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.
my sansa fuze wont turn on, the screen is black
