You have to use the Sansa Media Converter to "convert" the files to a recognizable format. Standard image formats do not work. The Sansa Media Converter is on the installation CD. Best of Luck.

Trying to import pictures from my library. When trying to open pix, get message-Unsupported Media Format- I have Sansa Fuze player.

I have the same player. I usually go to my computer, find the drive with the sansa, double-click to open the files.
Leave this window open,
Now go to your pictures, and open that file. Go to first top picture, right-click, this picture, then scroll to bottom of picture list, on last picture, press and hold shift key then left-click on the picture. Now all pictures should be high-lighted.
Now just drag the pictures over to the sansa pic file and drop them in there. THey should automatically add themselves to your sansa.
It should be JIF,BMP, and the other most common pic files.

Drag and drop any song or picture from your pc directly into sansa folder under my computer.

Downloading videos

Check The Photos folder in your computer on the MP3 and if the videos are in the picture folder then copy the vids and paste them to the video folder. if you dont have a video folder in the mp3 hard drive then create a new one called VIDEOS in CAPS. then paste the vids in that folder. after that delete the vids in the pics folder. hope this works. RATE PLZ. :P

DELETING VIDEOS FROM MY MP3

Below are the instructions. I hope I've made them clear enough!
Make sure your device is under MSC instead of MTP...To do that go under Menu, settings and then usb mode...
--

Step 1
Open up Windows Explorer: Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer

Step 2
On the right of Windows Explorer, click on My Computer

Step 3
You should see two devices after your CDROM drive. One will be SANSA E260R and the other will be Sansa e200R Rhapsody. Chose the one on the top; the one that doesn't say Rhapsody. It may say E250R, E260R, E270R, or E280R depending on which model you have.

Step 4
Once you're viewing the device, you'll see the folders: PHOTO and VIDEO. These are the folders that contain your photos and videos. For videos, you can simply remove the video you want to delete - it will completely remove it.

I hope that helps

I'm trying to put a video/picture slideshow on my sansa e250 player and it won't work

what you need to do is make sure that the file is correctly in the folder like drag the file from the media player and have the folder already open then drag the file to the folder that is already open and when you have it on your PC make sure you change the file to what ever type of PC or programming (like media player or real player etc.) then you should use .mp3,wma(if you have windows media player), or mpeg-4/mp4. this should work. if not then post a problem up again and i'll find an answer for you

You need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer to view the MUSIC folder where the files are located.

In My Computer select TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS>VIEW> Select SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.
