WATER DOES NOT COMPLETELY DRAIN FROM DISHWASHER. TOOK APART DRIN VALVE OTHER NIGHT AND PUT BACK TOGETHER AND IT STARTED WORKING FOR ABOUT 5 LOADS. NOW THERE IS ABOUT 1/2 INCH WATER STANDING IN BOTTOM THAT IS NOT NORMALLY THERE AT THE END OF THE CYCLES.

Took apart the washer and dryer and need to put it back together...i have everything except where the clear plastic hose goes

Kristen-follow the hoses-water comes into machine at the water supply valves-hot and cold which go into the tub-then there is a drain pump which is connected to the tub via a hose-the out put of the drain pump is connected to the drain through the back of the machine usually at the bottom and this goes into your houses' drain-follow the hoses and you shall reach laundry success-cheers Denny

Dishwasher starts then pauses and drains.

Fixed! I had the issue where the cycle would start, the KUDS30IXBL8 would hum 4-5 times and then drain. Plastic folk pieces jammed in the disposer. These instructions took a few minutes (only 5 screws and a couple clips) to figure out how to take it apart, and it only took 60 seconds to put back together. Whirpool DU1055xts water does not drain after wash

Hi,

There is a fourth screw under the spray arm. Here are some instructions I put together to clean out the pump. But I do not think this will help the drain. The drain hose or drain pump could be restricted.

The best way to find the restriction is work backwards. Start at the sink where the dishwasher drain hose connects, take that connection apart and try to drain into a bucket. If it does not drain the work your way back to the dishwasher checking at every connection point.

This link will be for the pump cleaning.

GE model GSD600003 repair manual: Before you answer this, please tell me if I will be charged for the answer, in case I'm not interested at this time. Do you have a diagram of the drain area and water...

I'm not sure how mildew can grow in a dishwasher that is working well, but after cleaning it and putting things back together, it does now seem to be working. I thought that the water wasn't filling but I guess the heating element heats up before the water fills the dishwasher. So when I tried again and started the dishwasher from the beginning and waited, it did progress to filling water and going through the whole cycle.

Maytag neptune top loader-will not start

Hello tinagomez479,

Some basic questions for troubleshooting;
Your machine type is a FVA6800AW/FAV9800AW correct?

Any errorcodes to the console?

Can you tell me what this action was for? “”We took it apart and cleaned it and put it back together and it worked good for about 5 loads then the water stopped draining and now it won't start again.”” Was this a Clutch clean up for dc/UC errors?

Does the clicking noise come from the console area like relays clicking or down below where the clutch pulley is located?

When you press the start button do the lid locks lock the lid?

Can you enter into Service Mode? If so can, can you turn on the drain pump for me? This will let us know if the Control Board is at least functioning in Service Mode and will take commands.

Go to page 16 of the Service Manual lower right hand part of page, Board Output Test and turn on the drain pump in service mode and see if the drain pump motor runs.

Here is the process; close the lid and enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00” Pressing the Delicates key will lock the lid. Now press the Presoak key the drain pump will turn on do you hear it run? Stop the test as the SM states with the off button or hit the Presoak key.

You mentioned it stopped draining, if the Control Board will take the command in Service Mode we can at least get rid of any standing water in the wash tub. When it stopped draining in the wash cycle did you take any error codes to the console like “ND”

Can you also try a Spin Only cycle and see if that will start and complete?

If you can’t do anything at the console pull the 120VAC power plug to the washer for 10 seconds then re-power up and try all above again.

Error codes are very helpful so please let me know what if any error codes you take to the console with your machine issue.

Water will not drain on neptune MAH3000AWW washer tried different cycles. It started working for a while after we took back off and took things apart but now it won't drain at all.

There are many things could make a dishwasher not drain, here's a list of the most common reasons.
  • a clog or air gap in the drain line, often the problem is where the drain line attaches to the household drain line, if you remove this line you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection.
  • a defective pump, your dishwasher pump ejects the water.
  • many dishwashers use a drain valve or solenoid, the solenoid can sometimes become stuck or defective solenoid.
  • a defective motor, if the motor is'nt turinig or working the dishwasher won't drain.
