The rocker zoom in and out on the top has frozen and doesn't work suddenly :(

Hi,

I think focusing ring got stuck or jammed. What you can try to do is spray some compressed AIR into the lens to try to free up any sand or dust that may have worked its way in. If that doesn't help, you can gently bump the camera to try to free the focusing ring.

or.......

You can try to turn camera ON at the table (facing it to the ceiling), don't put camera down face to the floor when opening.

Else your camera need to be disassembled to get at the focusing ring at Service Center.

Good luck and have a nice day.

Rating the solution is highly appreciated.

Zoom did not operate normally, insert the battery again and turn camera on again Camera doesn't operate normally

Hi had this problem with my WB100. Zoom would come out then pop back in and say zoom nit not operate normally, please put new batteries in and try again or contact bla bla. What i did when the zoom popped out is i held onto it and didnt let it retract back and turned it back on. It worked after that so i guess the zoom must of been a little forced in when it was in use last in when turned on it wasnt fully going forward. Worked for me so worth a shot

System error: zoom message with Panasonic Lumix FS15 camera

I had the same problem, i switched the camera on in capture mode and zoomed in and applied a little pressure to the lens which made a slight click but retracted and has worked fine since. I may of just been lucky but the camera is fully functional again, could be worth a try.

Zoom error

You lens are tilted? If so, they are out of track. Maybe you bumped or dropped the camera. Try straighten them up with your fingers, very gently.

Focus/zoom issue with Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 digital camera w/ 12x zoom

This is a symptom commonly listed for DiMAGE cameras listed on EBay for 'parts only'. Dropping the camera I had caused the same problem and carefully 'smacking' the camera once again did solve the problem but that may have been dumb luck. Sorry but it is a service task that may cost more than the camera.

Zoom Error

try a camera reset first of all.
if not, thanit is little what you can do,because your camera is  acompact one..you just cant get into it.
Try a specialized service because the problem can be solved by replacing the zoom engine if it is brocken.
if it is a lense problem..wellthan is more complicated..
good luck

Picture still blurred on record mode

Your problem sounds like a focus problem. Could be that it's on manual focus and you're hitting the sweet spot only in full zoom? From the manual: 1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode. 2. Turn the MENU DIAL up or down until the FOCUS is highlighted and then press the ENTER button. M. FOCUS(MF) will display. 3. Turn the MENU DIAL up or down until the object is in focus. Zoom out a little if focusing is difficult. 4. To return to AF (Auto Focus: ), press the ENTER button again. Hope it works out, let us know!
