You need to locate the lever standing out proud on the right hand side of the upright legs of the chassis, push this down with your foot, then push upwards the back folding section (referred to as a 'band-stand') with your foot, the stroller will then collapse by pushing this forward away from you.

You can go to maclarens web sight and watch the 5 second fold demo. You have to pull up both tabs where the cross metal bars meet. Then on the right is another little tab you use your foot to push down. It will fold very quickly then. There is a lock on the left. FYI, make sure you unlock the hood on both sides so it does not break like mine did today :(

No, there is no way to do that that is just the way those strollers are made,it sure would make a life easier.

Ok, I will try to do this step by step.
1. Place flat screw driver under hub cap and pry off (these we will reuse later).
2. Using diagonal pliers, cut star locks from axle, you should have received new one from Maclaren when you got the wheels, if not you will need to get those.
3.Repeat this process for each wheel.
4. Take off the old wheels and put the new ones on. Put on the new star locks (I use a small hammer), put the hub caps back on and viola, new Mac wheels.
